There are many 'host' travel agencies and online agent mills that get or give you credentials for a monthly fee. Those mills ostensibly care more about the fees than whether you actually sell travel or not.
If you just want to 'say' you're a travel agent, and get a few discounts and perks here and there - join them!
However, if you want to SELL TRAVEL, provide value to clients, make lasting memories and friendships, you arrived at the right place.
HIRING NOW OPENS AUGUST 1ST WITH START DATES OF 1 OCTOBER
Unlike other companies, we only hire once a year to ensure new team members benefit from our extensive training programs and support systems.
Every new agent has a dedicated manager to help guide them through the best practices to market and sell travel. You don't get 'out of office' replies or 'we'll get back to you in' responses. The bulk of our applicants come from other travel companies or hosts who charge monthly fees and throw you in to a machine designed to keep those fees coming.
Our success depends on you selling travel while learning and enjoying the perks, benefits, and lifestyle that comes with it.
We hire for attitude and aptitude first and foremost. Of course experience and a passport full of stamps helps - but no experience is better than bad experience.
We post openings August 1st annually to interview and hire by October 1st. Initial training starts October 1st, and must be completed by the December 31st probationary period.
Yes, but it's very rare, and you must have a minimum of 3-7 years experience and a current client book. We have systemic training programs for all new team members that build off each other to ensure success. We don't teach the basics mid-cycle.
Yes, and it's extensive. We have timelines and measurable goals for all new agents to learn the basics, intermediate and advanced skills. We have web based, on demand, onsite and scheduled video calls for new agents in small groups so you can ask questions and learn best practices. All new agents are assigned a dedicated manager they can call/text/email when they have questions or need help. Managers conduct weekly and bi-weekly check in's to make sure you are on track to meet YOUR goals.
It depends on the position you are applying for and your experience level. Like many professional service positions, licenses, insurance, and software may be required for your role at an additional expense. If you follow the established systems and training paths and processes you will re-coup your annual fee in free travel or after making a couple sales.
Annual one time fees range from $97.50 - $538.50 per year. Fees are reduced or waived at renewal based off performance goals as well as receiving various incentive pay and perks.
