GROUP TRAVEL & FAQ

Eight passengers or more on the same flight is considered group airfare.  Airfare increases in price based on space and availability.  You may find a 'cheap' ticket for one person, but the second ticket may be just a little more.  Want 30 tickets? The rate will be the average cost of the first and 30th ticket.*

Group discounts vary greatly based off multiple factors to include number of rooms, the season, when initial reservation deposits are made and the size of the resort, hotel, or cruise ship. Group Discount range from 0-20% in most cases.

Perks and bonuses vary greatly based off the resort, tour, hotel or cruise ship.  Typical perks are private events, bonus credits or spending money (on board credit) and creature comforts such as gourmet snacks, beverages, or toiletries exclusive to group guests.

What you think is a group may be different that what's actually a group. A group rate generally starts at five rooms or staterooms depending on the resort, cruise or tour. 20 people sharing 4 rooms is not a group - except when it comes to airfare.

Primarily there are two types of group, contracted and flexible.  Contracted groups require a initial deposit to hold specific space and types of rooms on a resort, cruise or hotel at a specific rate.  Flexible groups secure space without a deposit, but no rate is guaranteed.

Destination weddings function differently than a typical group.  Most destination weddings will include a complimentary ceremony package based off the number of rooms booked.  The more rooms booked, the more perks and bonuses you may get, as well as package upgrade.
